OMG gorgeous, gorgeous splash page *___* Does that mean we’re going to see Fye’s past in this volume? I hope so !!!
So the feather got inside Sakura by itself, good ! So this is the 9th feather, right? But we know Seishirou has the 10th and possibly Tokyo Tower has the 11th… if you consider they are 12 in total, we’re almost there *-* (keep in mind that it’s just a theory of mine)
What makes me think that Tokyo Tower has one is because after the feather got inside Sakura, the Kekkai protecting the building faded away. So I think that a feather is also protecting Tokyo Tower.
No, Syaoran, don’t try to hit Kamui, you won’t do good against him XDDDDDDD And yeah, Kamui totally beat him up ! When he pierced Syaoran’s chest I thought “Are we back in Outo?” XD *Seishirou’s techniques… hummm*
Kamui comments again the “E” thing… and he beats him up even more… I wonder if Dark-Syaoran will make an appearance next chapter? Either personally or by possessing Syaoran.

and finally…. the highlight: SUBARU ! Kamui mentions Subaru ! He says that maybe if Subaru drinks Syaoran’s blood, he can wake up ! O.O
Does that mean that hand Kamui was holding in that splash page is actually Subaru’s? Does that mean Subaru really is the vampire Seishirou is seeking? Or is it Subaru AND Kamui (he certainly looks like a vampire if you ask me O.o).
And a second Character Guide is on the way ! I loved the first one, can’t wait to see which volumes this one will cover.

Oh they didn’t, and you’re not stupid, don’t worry. I’m sorry I didn’t specify that, but that’s just a theory I have. You know Sakura’s wings? They have 12 “sections”, so maybe it’s 12 feathers in total, it does look like a good number to me.

It can also mean ‘food’ or ‘prey’, according to the dictionary, but ‘bait’ is definitely a more common meaning. I guess we’ll have to wait until next chapter to see what Clamp means here…

I worry about all those people who took refuge in the building. Now that the barrier protecting it is gone, where will they go? Can they continue living? If Sakura awakens, perhaps she might be able to help save this world’s future. I hope Kamui and Syaoran can part on at least semi-amicable terms. Come to think of it, I wonder if Kamui is a vampire. He was certainly dressed like a noble vampire lord. Then there’s the matter of Subaru. No matter which dimension, the only person Subaru has ever and will ever love is Seishirou. Still, there is a love of sorts between Kamui and Subaru, I think, though it is of a more platonic nature.

Oh my gosh! It would totally make sense that Kamui is a vampire, because Kurogane and Syaoran said there was something ‘different’ about him. Kurogane thought he might have not felt pain, and it looks like he can speak underneath water(which most humans can’t do). He’s gotta be a vampire!

If Subaru and Kamui are both vampires, I have an idea about their relation. Kamui could be either Subaru’s sire or his childe. The others told Syaoran that Kamui was like a lost child. Perhaps Kamui misses his sire. Either that, or Kamui care much for his childe. Kamui hardly seems to be some mere fledgeling or neonate, assuming that he is a vampire.

I was using terms from the rpg, Vampire: the Masquerade, though I’m not sure they are exclusive to the rpg. As far as vampires go, when a vampire Embraces a human, makes that human a vampire, then the one who Embraced is the sire. The newly Embraced vampire would be the childe. One could say it is analogous to a parent/child relationship, since they are of the same bloodline, and that is how vampires ‘propagate’.

I don’t think we’re nearing the end yet… if you remember in the first book where it showed all of Sakura’s feathers flying away, there were about twenty or so. I think that means we’ve still got a decent chunk of the story to look forward to (I hope!!)

Just some crazy thoughts. I don’t want them to be more than 20, please, and they got 4 in the first “season” (vols 1~7) and more 4 on the second “season” (Vols 8~14) so that makes me think that they’ll get more 4 in the 3rd and last season, making 12 in total ^^
Also, in one particular panel of Vol 1, when you see the feathers flying away, you can count 11 of them. And 11 is near 12 so XDDD
It could be 14 as well because Sakura and Syaoran have around 14 years old (one feather per year of life? O.o) and Sakura’s wings has 7 “sections” in each side, making a total of 14 sections.
It’s ALL theory and hopes, though.

This chapter, as echoed from everyone else, is one of the best chapters so far just because it’s so intense! It’s as if from now on everything will all come together! The splach page is just gorgeous.
If we take your theory that Tokyo Tower has a feather then that means that everyone in the diet building will have to go there – which means more fuuma for me ^^ – but will Syaoran be alright with taking that feather as it means that the world will lose its last barrier and water supply?
I also hope that there we get Kurogane strangling Fai’s story out of him – though I still have no idea how Fai’s story will end as he needs to keep travelling… may be he’ll die? – Clamp has been known to do it before coz I’m thinking it’s too late to get into Ashura killing saga if there are gonna be around 150 chapters altogether…

I’m not that sure anymore about 150 chapters… they aren’t as big as they used to be… I only hope that there won’t be more than 21 vols. This is vol 16, I think they can wrap everything up in 5 volumes.

Crying in joy with the splash page!!! OMG OMG Fye and Ashura-ou so gorgeous!!!!! I’m dying right now!! There was a terrible scream in joy in 4 AM that could wake everybody XD!! I really want to see Fye’s past right now!! Please Kurogane, please make him tell (because there’s no way Fye will tell that by himself)!!
And one again crying with the last page “Subaru” >.< Man, love CLAMP so much!! I'm sure there will be another feather in Tokyo Towel because we still haven't dealt with Fuuma yet. CLAMP don't want that. So are we XDD So many great things happened in X world. If Chibi Yuuto's theory about 12 feathers is right, I wonder if this is the last world. No, may be not because Kurogane hasn't come back to his world yet XD When I read the last page, WTH Kamui with Seishirou's technique talking about Subaru?? What is their relationship??? KAMUI REALLY DOES LOOK LIKE A VAMPIRE. What is Syaoran gonna do after hearing the name "Subaru" ??? I can't wait for the next chapter. If Subaru the one Kamui mentioned is the vampire Seishirou is seeking, may be Seishirou can come back and say "Oh, you ran away from me and now you come back to my world come back to me, Subaru-kun" XD

I know, the splash page is so pretty (all blue *-*), it’s one of my favorites ! And I hope too it’s an omen that Fye’s story is coming still at THIS very volume.

(Actually I was re reading my manga yesterday and Sakura’s wings seem to have 7 sections >_> So that would make 14 feathers.

That’s right, I made a mistake by saying it was 6, it’s indeed 7 sections. I have 2 theories, one for 12 and one for 14 feathers ^^

I knew it ! It has been obvious, since Kuropuu and Kamui have fought, that Kamui was a vampire. Those eyes couldn’t be human eyes.
And about Kamui being one of the twins, Ohkawa had told the two vampires might not be who we thought they were. But I still hope Hokuto will also show up (maybe she sleeps under the Tower).
Also, I hope so much the splash page means we’ll get to know Fye’s past! If Shadow Syaoran doesn’t appear soon, maybe only Fye’s magic will be able to save Syaoran from Kamui. Kuro-rin’s past was soooooooo good, I’m sure Fye’s past will rule too.
