CLAMP in CARDLAND Launched!

CLAMP in CARDLAND has been officially released in Japan today, and the official website has been updated with the complete Rule Book 1, teaching how to play the game, and the complete Card List. You can check the names and specifications of all the 131 cards featuring the 1st Series.

The unique Secret Card is actually the “Sakura and Sakura” card, and here’s a little preview of how it looks like (click to enlarge):

Sorry about the quality, got these from Yahoo Auctions and so far is the best I could find ^^”

Cute illustration nonetheless, isn’t it? ^^

The 6 (and not 4 as I had previously reported) cards listed as Ultra Cards are:

The 2nd and 3rd Series of CLAMP in CARDLAND are reportedly due to February and May 2008, respectively.

Singles and CARDLAND

Maaya Sakamoto’s official website has launched a special hotsite to promote the release of her next single and Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations main theme, Saigo no Kajitsu. In the hotsite, you can both listen to the single and watch it’s PV.

In addition, you can listen to a sample of the OAD Opening Theme, syncronicity, at Makino Yui’s official website.

Both singles will be released on November 21st.

I was quite surprised (in a good way) with syncronicity. I didn’t expect it’s fast beat, I was expecting more around the airs of Amurita. Sounds good!

CLAMP in CARDLAND:

Here are a few more samples cards of CLAMP in CARDLAND:

Just out of curiosity, it’s been established that the Wish and RG Veda cards are white, CLAMP Campus Detectives and Chobits are blue, X and XXXHOLiC are black, Card Captor Sakura red and Tsubasa purple.

And you can see the Point Cards in the picture, they come randomly inside the Decks and Booster Packs. By collecting Point Cards you’ll obtain points which later can be exchanged for original goods and special cards.

25 points can be exchanged for a Deck Case.
50 points can be exchanged for a Storage Box.
100 points can be exchanged for an exclusive Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations card featuring Kamui and Subaru (new illustration drawn by CLAMP).

No words have been given yet on how to obtain the card featuring the Package illustration or the one with the two Sakuras.

Like I’ve mentioned here previously, for this first series, there will be a total of 131 cards, being 11 of those Starter Cards and 120 Booster Cards.

The 120 Booster Cards are classified by the following:

Secret: 1 card.
Ultra: 4 cards.
Super: 9 cards.
Rare: 25 cards.
Normal: 81 cards.

The cards of Sakura, Ashura and Kamui are classified as “Super”.

Wow, if these characters are “Super”, I’m curious to see what kind of cards are the “Ultra” and “Secret” ones ^^

CLAMP in CARDLAND will be officially launched next week, on November 16th.

November Edition

(CLAMP IN) CARDLAND & WONDERLAND news

• CLAMP in CARDLAND:

The official website of CLAMP in CARDLAND has been updated with more news about the cardgame.

First off, the illustration that is going to feature the Booster Packs has been announced:

Consequentially, we now have the complete list of featuring works:

1. Tsubasa
2. XXXHOLiC
3. X
4. Card Captor Sakura
5. CLAMP Gakuen Tanteidan
6. Wish
7. Chobits
8. RG Veda*

*RG Veda hasn’t been formally announced yet, but judging by the package illustration, we can assume it’s the 8th series.

The pattern of 2 of the 3 cards featuring brand-new CLAMP illustrations has been revealed: one of them will feature Kamui and Subaru, and other will feature the Two Sakuras. The pattern of the 3rd card has yet to be announced.

Upperdeck has added a section with the rules and information on how to play the card game.

Check their website for more pictures of the cards.

CLAMP in CARDLAND will be released on the middle of November.

• CLAMP IN WONDERLAND 2:

The Creative Log section of CLAMP IN WONDERLAND official website has added some information about the exclusive special pamphlet that will come as one of the many privileges for those who purchase the 1st Edition of the DVD.

The cover of the pamphlet will be drawn by CLAMP, and I’m pretty sure it’s another new illustration since they said the picture is still a “top secret”.

The special pamphlet will feature a short comic, also drawn by CLAMP, that is told to be a sequel of the music clip (CIW2). They said that it should be read after having watched the video. Interesting~

The site also mentions a “‘gorgeous’ guest’s autograph page” to be among the contents.

Apparently the staff of CLAMP-NET “forgot” to fully update the website on the last time it was updated. So here are some last minute news, from CLAMP-NET.COM and other sources too.

Mid-September Edition

CLAMP in CARDLAND news

The official website of CLAMP in CARDLAND has been updated with more information about the upcoming release of the 1st Series.

A total of 8 CLAMP works will be featured on the 1st Series, so far 3 of them have been announced. Tsubasa and XXXHOLiC were already on that list, and now X has also been added.

The remaining 5 works to be included on it are yet to be announced (although we might guess that Card Captor Sakura is among them since the Character Card of Sakura Kimonoto has been announced already).

Apparently, 3 cards will feature brand new CLAMP illustrations: a Starter Card, a Booster Card and a Point Card.

The Starter Card drawn by CLAMP will come with the Starter Deck, containing 46 cards in total.

The Booster Card will come randomly within the booster packs, containing 10 cards in total.

And finally, the Point Card illustrated by CLAMP can be get by exchanging points. Points can be acquired by collecting Point Cards that will come in the decks and busters. These points can latter be exchanged by Point Cards (such as the one drawn by CLAMP) as well as original goods.

Please keep in mind that this is what I could understand myself, it might not be exactly the way is written here (these card things are pretty hard to follow xD).

Lastly, tentative release dates for the upcoming series have been announced as well:

2nd Series – February 2008
3rd Series – May 2008
