The official cover of Kobato. #1 has been finally announced!
Quite disappointing, I should say XD I didn’t expect a new illustration, but I did expect a different and more elaborated design. What’s with pink stripe on the edge? xD
As you might know, this illustration was first published on the cover of CLAMP Newtype [PASTEL]. If the pattern repeats itself, the next Newtype cover might become the cover of Kobato. volume 2.
Kobato. #1 will be released on December 26.

Sugoi! Loved the normal edition~! And Watanuki is at the deluxe one! I totally expected that! The list of characters yet to appear is getting thinner and thinner, who do you think will be on the next one? My guess? Fei Wang ! ò.ó
Tsubasa #22 comes out January 17.

• CLAMP in 3-D LAND:
The character line-up for the 6th Series has been announced! They are:
– Kurogane (Tsubasa)
– Akira Ijyuin (CLAMP Gakuen Tanteidan)
– Kentaro Higashikunimaru (Gakuen Tokkei Duklyon)
– Umi Ryuuzaki (Mahou Kishi Rayearth)
– Kobato Hanato (Kobato.)
Akira… again? I would rather see Oruha instead. I think this means we’ll be seeing Suoh and Nokoru in the two final Series.
Umi makes the debut of MKR in CLAMP in 3-D LAND! Great, they are not having only Hikaru (again, we can assume Hikaru and Fuu will show up in the final two Series). And Kobato is there too! This Series is very much anticipated!
There are two Series left and X and CLOVER has still to make it’s appearance. They are saving the best for the end xD.
The sales of the 6th Series of CLAMP in 3-D LAND are scheduled for Spring, 2008.

I LOVE the fact that Watanuki is the deluxe cover for vol. 22, which reminds me, I’m only up to volume 12 on the deluxe editions and need to start buying them again. But I already pre-ordered the second DVD edition! WOHOO!

I’ve been betting Fei Wong for the past 2 or 3 issues. So yeah, FEI WONG or the Original Syaoran, he doesn’t have a cover yet. And nor does Evil Clone version or vampire Fye.

I think Real Syaoran will feature the final cover… whether it’s the 25th or the 28th (or any other), I do not know…
But to me it’ll be either Fei Wang, Xing Huo or Kyle (too many guesses XD)

She is a rather simple character to cosplay and definitely makes her presence known.
Yes, when she dies you kind of have the confirmation that she was easily discarded and how ruthless Fei Wang actually is. It sent chills down my spine.

My guess for the deluxe cover of 23 is Larg. XD Then we’ll have FWR or “Syaoran” on volume 24.

Kobato is steady, good news! ^_^
Although I’m disapointed with the first Tankoubon’s cover. I’d never liked this very illustration, the worst Kobato drawing so far, in my opinion, so I’m very disapointed. -_- And the design is kind of … uninspired I think. I hope the new Newtype cover will look great.
Tsubasa is steady too, but they have no choice, they have to release Tsubasa 23 for Mars, so they must finish the serialisation by early in February at worst. *evil grin* They have two weeks of pause anyway because of the double issues.
I like both tsubasa covers, it seems they put all their talent into these two and nothing was left for Kabato. XD For the deluxe covers, I would put Feiwang at the very end, if the second Syaoran doesn’t get a cover. If he get one, second before last, preceded by Xinghuo and Kyle.
xxxHolic, they announced two chapters in a row but it will turn into only one next update, believe me. ¬_¬ (I can’t help it, I’m way too use to complain about xxxHolic’s chapter release XD)

Because they want a set for each series and unfortunately, 20 mensou is still considered as one. -_- I was happy to see Utako, and I know the 20 mensou series was important as it was their second work, but it doesn’t deserve more than Wish, SDS, Angelic Layer, Shin – Shunkaden or Miyuki. One figure was enough. Talking of lesser series, we still haven’t seen Shira-hime.

I have to say that I didn’t see that Watanuki cover coming! I never thought he could appear in one of them. I suppose FWR is a good guess for the next one.
I’m a little dissapointed with the Kobato cover too; I was expecting something better, and I don’t like the design at all. *sigh*

Back then I never thought Watanuki could appear indeed… but ever since he was featured in a couple of Splash pages I started to think that he was ought to be in a deluxe cover as well ^^

They are two unknown series left…I think we’ll have only one X character by serie : so only Kamui and Fuma (no Kotori-chan T_T…but it’s not an amazing point v_v).
We’ll have Umi and Fu ♥ So great.
We can expect for the 7th and 8th series : Suoh, Fuu, Kamui, Suh of Clover, Sakura, Nokoru, Hikaru, Fûma and…who ? Kazuhiko or Oluha ? Shirahime Sho ?

The normal one is classical but beautiful and meaningfull too.
And Watanuki on the cover *w* (it sounds like the story is coming to an end, no ? (I don’t know, I don’t read the scans of TRC)
If you’re right, and Wei fang is on the next cover…I think the illustration would be a little bit “scary”.
