The official website of CLAMP in CARDLAND has been updated with more information about the upcoming release of the 1st Series.
A total of 8 CLAMP works will be featured on the 1st Series, so far 3 of them have been announced. Tsubasa and XXXHOLiC were already on that list, and now X has also been added.
The remaining 5 works to be included on it are yet to be announced (although we might guess that Card Captor Sakura is among them since the Character Card of Sakura Kimonoto has been announced already).
Apparently, 3 cards will feature brand new CLAMP illustrations: a Starter Card, a Booster Card and a Point Card.
The Starter Card drawn by CLAMP will come with the Starter Deck, containing 46 cards in total.
The Booster Card will come randomly within the booster packs, containing 10 cards in total.
And finally, the Point Card illustrated by CLAMP can be get by exchanging points. Points can be acquired by collecting Point Cards that will come in the decks and busters. These points can latter be exchanged by Point Cards (such as the one drawn by CLAMP) as well as original goods.
Please keep in mind that this is what I could understand myself, it might not be exactly the way is written here (these card things are pretty hard to follow xD).
Lastly, tentative release dates for the upcoming series have been announced as well:
2nd Series – February 2008
3rd Series – May 2008

You’re always wonderful with all information Clamp-wise, so I have a question for you. Has there been any news at all regarding Legal Drug in the past year that you know of? Sorry to take up your time and thankyou =).

The only official information that we have is CLAMP’s own statement that the series will be resumed, in their own words, “in the near future”. They said that on Anime Expo 2006.

it’s amazing though, your country is just south of the border of mine, yet this country doesn’t know of “manga” and only the people who are into “rock”(actually metal, but just really stupid people) like anime, and by “anime” they onlt like certain ones and can’t keep an open mind, the general society thinks it’s “cartoon nonsense” my population is a mere 700k of people on a mass of land bigger than england….-.- that is, if venezuela would stop trying to take our land lol XD i was shocked i was even able to by sailor moon plushies, and only the first 5 XD man.
if i do buy, shipping and taxes would be more than the actual stuff purchased lol.

Guyana, it’s just about brazil -.- hmm, though i’ve never been to brazil; from my country, one can simply take a bus and drive there, it’ll take entire day though -.-maybe longer ?, the alot of people visit Manaus
cuz it’s closest , as well as somewhere, else -.- i can’t remember for the life of me.
as well as brazilian who come over(man there is alot, and in clusters too, certain areas lol , more than chinese, but the chinese are 2nd!, u can find a restuarant of such on every block or area. hmm though it’s all good, most immigrants are very peaceful, but they party like hell when it’s the world cup!) the closest town after crossing from brazil is a town called Lethem(i’ve never been there, it’s dusty and not very well developed, the only developed part of guyana is the capital, way up north on the atlantic coast.)

Don´t worry i never got card games neither… modern card games that is, good ol´ card games rock but this new decks sometimes come with books and guides you have to study/learn to be able to play correctly… I mean, hello? is a game, exactly the opposite to the word “study”, people! … xD Anyways this is not that case so… sorry about that I just had the need to say it I think xD

…Looking at the little promotional thingy in the “loft” section… I’d hazard a guess that Kobato’ll also be one of the series… Though… it also had Nokoru, Suoh and Akira there… so maybe them too? (random guessing here.. haha ^^)

Ne, that’s some very good news about the latest report of the CLAMP in CARDLAND. I adore that picture showing the picture of Sakura Kinomoto. Of course, Cardcaptor Sakura definitely has to be in it since its a very famous series. As for X, I want to see Fuuma’s card and I hope that it’s wonderful! >///< I'm really curious to know which series will be informed to be included on the card set.

So far it’ll be released only in Japan. Knowing CLAMP’s popularity in the USA, it might be licensed later, though.

I won’t do the same mistake as for the trading card and wait to get a complete lot on auction after they will be all released (I’m still looking around for some common X treka, while I have almost all the rare ones. -_- Chobits the CCS Clow treka were cheaper and more trouble-less as I bought the complete pack).
If this has anything to do with Magic, the Starter Pack will have some commun card (buster cards?) and some Starter Card, while the Buster Pack will have commun card + rare Buster card. You’ll need to buy several packs, starter and buster, to get enough cards to make yourself a decent deck (this is scary, I don’t even play magic … o.O).

If this has anything to do with Pokemon, you’ll be able to start playing if you buy the Starter Deck. But you’ll need several Booster Packs (around 4) to form one deck. Booster Packs would contain at least 1 rare card, 4 uncommon cards and 5 common cards.

I think you mean “booster” rather than “buster”. Booster packs are the common name for the small packs of random trading cards that you buy in a vain attempt to complete your collection =)

I went in amazon.co.jp to look for the 1st serie of Clamp in Cardland and I discovered it was already there (for pre-ordering) but…in the description, they wrote they WOULD NOT SHIP THIS ARTICLE OUTSIDE OF JAPAN!!!! T_______________T NNNOOOO!! This is NOT happening T___T There is still ebay left…
