The official website of the XXXHOLiC anime has been slightly updated with the announcement of the 2nd Season and a bigger version of the promotional picture. No words on beginning of broadcast yet.
• Featuring CLAMP:
A special talk between Ageha Ohkawa and game-creator Ryukishi07, creator of the popular Higurashi no Naku Koro ni series, will be published in the new anime/game magazine ran by Ichijinsha, Chara☆Mel. The talk will be carried in issue VOL. 2, out on September 25th.
I’m really curious about this talk. Ohkawa’s favorite genre is suspense and Higurashi no Naku Koro ni is about cute children dealing with mysterious murdering. It’ll be an interesting talk xD
• DVD:
Apart from the 248-pages long special Booklet and Box drawn by CLAMP, purchasers of the limited edition of CLAMP IN WONDERLAND 1&2 1989～2006＜PRECIOUS BOX＞ are also going to get an exclusive and early promotional card of CLAMP in CARDLAND. The promotional card illustration will be the same as of the DVD cover.
CLAMP IN WONDERLAND 1&2 1989～2006＜PRECIOUS BOX＞ will be released on October 26th.
• Music CD:
The final title of the CD containing the songs of CLAMP IN WONDERLAND has been announced. The final title will be Original Animation “CLAMP IN WONDERLAND 1&2” Theme Song Collection ＜PRECIOUS SONGS＞. The track-list has been officially announced as well:
1. action!／Maaya Sakamoto
2. Oh! Yeah!!／ROUND TABLE featuring Nino
3. Anata Dake no WONDERLAND／Hirotani Junko
4. “Anata” ga “Shiawase” de Aru Youni／Hirotani Junko
5. action!(without maaya)
6. Oh! Yeah!!(without Nino)
The final two tracks are, obviously, karaoke versions.
The CD will have it’s limited first edition, too, and the privileges are the following:
– DVD tall-case-size Digipack with illustration draw by CLAMP.
– Exclusive Interview with CLAMP, Maaya Sakamoto and ROUND TABLE.
– Exclusive short comic drawn by CLAMP.
– Exclusive early promotional CLAMP in CARDLAND card.
Very nice privileges! We are going to get a new CLAMP illustration (different from the DVD-box), a new interview and a new short comic!! The promotional card illustration will be the same as of the CD cover.
NOW I’m seeing the vantages of buying this CD xD
The CD comes out two days earlier than the DVD set, on October 24th.
• Code Geass:
As it was announced months ago, on September 25th the final DVD of the first season of Code Geass will be released. A special Box drawn by CLAMP to hold all 9 Volumes will come with it, and Amazon.co.jp has got a preview of the Box:
Pretty illustration, but I confess I am slightly disappointed with it.

• CLAMP in CARDLAND:
Apart from the promotional cards coming with the DVD and CD of CLAMP IN WONDERLAND 2, a third promotional card is scheduled to come with the first Tsubasa TOKYO REVELATIONS OAD. The promotional card illustration will be the same as of the Box illustration.

Apparently, for the first series featuring Tsubasa & XXXHOLiC, there will be a total of 131 cards, divided in 3 categories: Story Card, Character Card and Event Card.
The card above featuring Yuuko, Maru and Moro is an Event Card, “The Shop that Grant Wishes”, while the one beside it featuring Kurogane and Tomoyo-hime it’s a Character Card, “Kurogane”.

Yeah, the Tsubasa Chronicle ones were better, not to mention X DVD boxes or the CCS ones. Even the Sweet Valerian one, although one sided, was less stiff.

A shame there was only three of them, it would have been nice to have Yuzuriha/Kusanagi, Karen/Seiichirou, Yuuto/Satsuki, Kakyou/Hokuto, Konoe/Hinoto, Nataku/Kazuki (ok that’s make about three boxes for four DVDs, so let’s add Tooru/Tokiko, Saya/Kotori and … er … Keiichi/Daisuke … or Souhi/Hien … maybe Kyougo/Kotori, Saya/Tooru and Tokiko/Keiichi … weak)

I dunno, those cards look like they were colored by amateurs or something 😡 I don’t really like them.
I like the Code Geass box, but the design isn’t anything original by any means. I’d like to see CLAMP draw them differently (and in different outfits)
And a talk between Ohkawa and the Higurashi creator sounds interesting. I really wonder what they could have to say to each other.

Hum… good point… I think they did a bad mistake by starting with XXXHOLiC and Tsubasa… both works are still on going… maybe they’ll use only illustrations taken from the early volumes so as to not spoil those who haven’t read the works yet.

And the promo-pic looks nice, I think… I may get stoned for thinking it, but… I’ve actually kinda like the xxxHOLiC anime… Well, excusing the ten-foot pole bodies ^^; But I’ve certainly liked it better than the Tsubasa [anime] designs. I’m honestly excited about the HOLiC anime season. ^^
CLAMP in wonderland… oh where to start? ^^; I’m glad I’ve ordered it (ahaha. It’s like preordering by three/four months and then waiting all that time for Okimono Kimono or the Tsubasa artbook all over again. ^^;; heheheh…)

I’m in doubt about buying the clamp in wonderland dvd since I dunno if my dvd will play it ;___; but I can buy the cd *__* (yayz for have saved money for clamp stuff)
and the code geass dvd box looks quite beautiful but it doesn’t look code geass-ish to me, like if I were to only see the box I would think the series is about some romance-drama slightly violent due to suzaku’s gun…when is all the other way around…cool action and guns and so slightly romantic…c.c reminded me of kotori xDDDDDD *shot* lol they took seriously the whole prince lelouch thing xDDDDD but the art and colors is pretty and all

I like the box of CG but I agree there is something that don't make this stuff amazing (matybe something in the color of the background)…but nevertheless, Lelouch still is gorgeous…as usual.
I am not very fond of the CLAMP in Cardland…but I'll wait and see ^^
