Kurogane asked the question that we all wanted to know: What is gonna be from now on?
It’s so interesting the development of Kurogane. I mean, in the first chapters, he would just sit in a corner, doing nothing, just occasionally dis-courage Syaoran or Fye. And now, he’s simply the one that’s taking care of everything. Amazing ^-^
A new enemy got in Sakura’s way. She tried to use the gun a bit faster this time, which is good, but she ended up doing something stupid XD But it’s completely understandable since she has no experience with mutant monsters whatsoever.
Okay, it’s enough, I know, a bit more and she’s dead. As much as I love the gore, I never thought I would live to see blood coming out of Sakura’s head o_o I still enjoyed it, of course, not because I’m a sadistic nor because it was with Sakura (I like her, after all). I liked it because no CLAMP character is “perfect”, even though Sakura might be quite near of that. I mean, why can Kotori loose her head and Sakura can’t lose a bit of blood? In that sense, I enjoyed it. Because it’s good to see Sakura is also vulnerable, so that you can feel for her and even expect the unexpected, instead of thinking that no matter what, in the end she’ll be “just alright”. Although I’m sure her limbs and head are safe xDDDDDDD
The 2-headed snake was so well-done. Mokona really kick-ass with her monsters.
Out of everybody, I’m particularly curious to see Syaoran’s reaction when he sees Sakura all bruised.
Now Sakura and Kamui (of X) share the same wish: to bring back their beloved ones (not talking about Kamui’s true wish here, because that’s ANOOOTHER subject XDDDD).

I think they are spending too much time in X world because now Sakura is going all Kamui and stuff… I love X and seeing all the characters but I feel it’s time to move on and hopefully the REAL X will continue very soon…
Also, I think I have an unpopular opinion here but Sakura’s whole adventure seems so unbelievable (saying a lot since she is a manga character in a fantasy story). I mean, she gets slammed into a wall, HARD as hell and cracks her head open yet she can do everything at the speed of light without even taking a few seconds to calm down… I mean, she also currently has a metal rod through her leg and her fingernails were ripped off (worst scene ever!). I mean, Sakura *is* a special character, but sheer willpower alone isn’t going to make something impossible happen. I mean, if she can do anything that goes beyond normal phyisical limitations, if she willed it enough she could fly or the able to regenerate her body or whatever.

I partially agree with you. I mean, maybe it’s indeed time to move on, but I don’t wanna the X characters to go away xDDDD

LOL! You’re quite right there xDDD I think I would faint or cry for at least 15 minutes if my head was slammed that hard against a hard surface. But she didn’t really acted in the speed of light XD She shot the monster while still lying on the floor. But yeah, I know, it’s something to suspect of.

Well, speed of light was an exaggeration, but she was composed enough to aim and shoot pretty much immediately after she hit the wall and fell to the ground, there wasn’t really a moment of like, pausing or anything. I mean, her life *was* in danger but it’s just a bit too much.
And at the very end, suppose that the stuff surrounding the egg was acid water because of the smoke and stuff rising from it… and she’s just standing there like nothing. I mean, if I had to wade into acid water,I’d run out as soon as I got what I was looking for. It seems a weird place for her to finally stop and stand still XD

Actually, there was a “frame” of pausing XDDD You can see her lying in the ground while the snake is approaching. Now, how much time it took, I have no idea, but it shouldn’t have taken more than a few seconds ^^””

Haha yeah. It couldn’t have been that long though, or else she would have been snake food.
Plus, one of the major injuries she has is on her ankle (that huge metal rod sticking straight though it… ouch!) so standing in acid water might not be the best for such an injury that in the real world probably would require surgery. Plus, a normal person wouldn’t be able to stand, much less walk regularly with that thing through their leg.

And so the surprise was seeing sakura getting SO HURT…wow, I mean, when she was slammed on the wall, I almost felt it too @_@ woah poor sakura, but I liked it anyway, so apart from what you said about it and that I agreed x3, she learns too that syaoran, fye and kurogane always got to do this sort of stuff to retrieve her feathers XP and wouldn’t give up as she didn’t with this …though @_@ she got so hurt XDDD *still shocked* I wanna see syaoran’s reaction too! And I don’t think she’s that kick-ass, you know? XD She’s surely more kick-ass than what she used to be, but she still has a LOT to learn with Yuzuriha, Arashi, or even Tomoyo xD

I think it was a mix of many things ^^ Before, I wouldn’t be able to do this section because I didn’t have a paid account (you can only upload pictures with a plus or paid account), and I recently got one, but I never used that feature, so I thought it would be cool to use it to host my previous layouts ^^ But then, I kept thinking “Okay, maybe I find it cool, but most people don’t care xDDDD” and that kept discouraging me. After your comment, I think my mind went “Aha ! SOMEBODY does care !” and unconsiously, I decided to work on it XDDDDDDDD

For me the biggest issue is that Sakura sits on her butt for 130 chapters and then WHOOSH Clamp tries to give her 130 chapters of bad-ass-ness in two or three chapters. xd It’s TOO over the top. Her getting injured in this chapter to me isn’t showing that she’s human and can get hurt, it’s showing that she’s superhuman and getting hurt won’t stop her. xd As said, willpower -won’t- allow you to do whatever you want, no matter how much you want it. I’m all for Sakura being cool and actually doing something, but I would have liked it to be developed a bit more instead of just being thrown at us like this. But that’s just me.

This can be seen in MANY ways. For example, if she kicked the monster’s ass without a simgle bruise, then people would also get mad at her for being EVEN MORE perfect, wouldn’t they?
Between an un-bruised Sakura and a bruised Sakura, I prefer the bruised Sakura ^^

I thought the same thing when I read the last few pages, she took his words right out of his mouth! Sakura and Kamui having something in common other than being cute and wide-eyed, feels a little weird. XD
Never thought I’d see Sakura get her head bashed open while reading CCS (was there any blood in that series?). Now the real question is how is she going to get back. She should be feeling extremely light headed after all that blood loss, and her adrenaline will start to go down after a while. I doubt she can walk back.

No, there wasn’t any blood in the Cardcaptor Sakura series. Only during Yue’s Final Judgment, Sakura Kinomoto only suffered minor bruises and a little bit of her costume being torn when she was thrown a lot by Yue.

So, this time Sakura received a big punishment O.O But was so cool to see it. (that doesn’t mean that I hate Sakura).
BTW, so she is going to do whatever to bring back fake Syaoran O.O (it’s getting a little interesting).
And now we see Sakura’s development from Sakura spoiled and infantile to Sakura serious and mature O.O (that’s good for me XD)

That’s Sakura XDDDDDDD A “normal” human being wouldn’t really feel that bad for something who wants to eat you alive xDDD Her goodness annoys me, sometimes… but I think it’s well-balanced here.

After this chapter I’m guessing there is going to be some explanation as to what Sakura’s powers actually entail. I agree with the above comments, physically her actions are not possible. Adrenaline lasts only so long and then you better hope you’re in a safe place after that ’cause the body is just not made to withstand long time stressful situations. (I’m a physiology nerd, sorry! ^^;) So in case Sakura has amazing healing powers they better hope the next world is all flowers and music ’cause she is not healing any time soon. The fantasy element has got to kick in soon. XD
But, all reality arguments aside, this chapter kicked ass! I’m not sadistic by any means either(XD), but I am looooving these darker worlds they are going to now thanks to Ashura. But not knowing what is gonna happen next is driving me nuts! XD XD

Not at all indeed. Specially because CLAMP take the “bruises” matter so seriously. Characters stay in bed for chapters and chapters and they they leave it, they still wear patches. That if they don’t bear any definitive scars afterwards.

Well, to keep up my tradition of commenting, I have to say that while it was really cool to see Sakura being all kick-ass, and that her injuries were shocking but a good way to show, as you say, that she’s not perfect, I felt bad for her at the end. She doesn’t get it–she wants to bring her Shaoran’s heart back, but it’s already in the real Shaoran. Out of all 5 of them I think I feel worst for Shaoran (the real one) in a lot of ways, he spent the last umpteen number of years in a tube feeling things but not really experiencing them, and now the girl he loves only wants his soulless clone bac. (Sidenote: I was re-reading holic & the glance Shaoran gave Watanuki when he showed up in Yuuko’s yard seemed very deliberate and meaningful.)
Yeah, you’re right about Kurogane changing, and so have Fai and Sakura too: Fai gives a damn and Sakura’s not useless anymore. Shaoran changed too, but rather differently. ^_^
As for what they should do next, it’s obvious: 1) find the feathers; 2) hunt down the clone, kick his ass and get Fai’s eye back; 3) kill Fei Wong Reed! It’s really quite simple when you think about it… ^_^

I'm glad Sakura is doing somethign for herself but, I really didnt like how they made her the whole damsel in distress, turn bad guys good with her sweetness type character.

It’s really nice to see Sakura having a little back bone, though I think the blood was a little unessicary!
Kurogane really is taking up the daddy role at the moment…perhaps saying Fye from himself has given him a taste for protecting people!
As to where the plot goes now…
Wish to see what Clone Shaoran is up to and also (as you well know) have want to see the Twins backstory…
rather unlikly at the moment though…maybe in the next tank!

Kuro seems to believe there’s no coming back for Clone|Syaoran…while in the end of the chapter Sakura express openly that she wants him back…the problem now, is that Kuro said to Real|Syaoran that they had to take a decision about what there’re going to do from now on BEFORE Sakura comes back…if what they decide and what she wants differs, will we witness a rupture of the group or an argument between them?…I can’t wait for the next chap!
As for the bloody Sakura-chan…our lovely Clamp pushed it too far : no matter how I look at it, it miss autenticity, it looks so…fake! And now what? In the next chapter we will see here go back to everyone? And then what? Stand on her feet as if nothing happened, with just bandages here and there?! I sure hope Clamp won’t do this kind of error and show clearly that she’s in bad state…They did a good job with Fye, I’m sure they can do great with Sakura too ^_~

Ohhh, very good point ! Specially because they are so used to Sakura always following their commands. That would be really…. interesting o.o
And yeah, I hope the aftermatch of Sakura’s journey will have some serious consequences on her. CLAMP always dealed very well in that field, and I’m sure they’ll do the justice this time too, otherwise it’s like you said, it’ll look fake @_@

I think it’s even more sugoi how CLAMP do that to EVERY character, reguarless of being cute or not. Of course, they wouldn’t draw such a scene with a 10 year old girl as the character in question, it would be too horrible, so they waited until she got a bit older xDDDDD I think the older, the more dangerous their live become ^^

Oh, even before… she drew some beasts for RG Veda, not to mention their old doujinshis. She’s not just a “character” drawer (many drawers can only draw people, while others can only draw objects, animals, etc), she really can do anything, and what’s more, she does it incredibly well ! XDDD

It seems that retrieve the magic egg it’s big challenge, we’ll never saw Sakura-hime suffering like that, right? As many noted, she is reacting by adrenaline, that wear off on the next chapitre, and she will notice all her bruises. I also thought that bruised nails have been the most painful thing, until I noticed in the injure in her ankle, if a dislocated knee HURTS (happened to me twice), I don’t want to know the pain of a pierced ankle, and yeah, she’ll may be can’t walk for a while after that.
Indeed, all the dynamics are changing: as we can see Kurogane stepping out (and don’t forget that he is in charge to keep Fye “alive”), real!Syaoran has to take a heavier role covering the other Syaoran and after Sakura’s empowerment(??), she’ll be able to vote in the agenda since they are trying to get HER feathers back and now she got a wish, as Fye’s attitude is shutting everyone out.

I like Sakura getting harmed, and more importantly getting more protagonism, BUT I do not think it has anything to do with Kotori. Reason? I don´t like Kotori at all XDDDDDD (just that! this is being eloquent! XD).
I can´t wait to Sakura to return! yey! Like you say Syaoran is going to say something! XD NO, really, I wonder how “this” syaoran will react? o.o

Yeah ! They look REAL, you know? It’s as though she watched how a snake moves itself for hours and then she started drawing it.

BUT, I didn’t say it had anything to do with Kotori XDDDD I was just making a comparition because Kotori is the only CLAMP character who have lost her head more than a billion of times XDDDD But you shouldn’t hate Kotori, people really missjudge her u.u

I never thought I would live to see blood coming out of Sakura’s head o_o
I know what you mean! Seeing her bloody like that, it was a shock. [And yet there was still a v. Sakura-chan feel to the scene, when she picks up an egg out of a flower-shaped rock/thing. XD] T, they’re being mean to her. T^T Well, no, they’re challenging her, seeing what directions she can go in.
And of course she’s mourning Syaoran…
What is gonna be from now on?
Will the series go back to its lighthearted self?

YES!!!! Gah, finally Sakura is doing something. I mean, yeah, we all love Sakura, but now WE ALL LOVE SAKURA! Ah, that didn’t sound right either! X|….
What I want to say is that they’re all doing something now. Before Sakura was really sad that she wasn’t able to do anything to help others (except smile, though still there ‘is’ that discontentment) and now she’s kicking a-word!!!! All the guys were fighting for Sakura’s feathers and Moko-chan was teleporting them and being the communicae, etc. while Sakura-chan was so…helpless. *sigh* Now Sakura is adding to the journey. Although the way she’s putting up probably means she won’t be able to continue to do this. *sigh* But go Sakura-sama! Tu es incroyable! (dang french -x-) Sakura-sama wa sugoi desu ne?
Characters are best when they can do something to help!! X)

Me either ^^;; I never ever thought I’d end up seeing so much blood leak out of Sakura XD; Even writing it is weird! XD; She had lots of hardships and battles in CCS too, but she never streaked blood out of her head and limbs XD;;;
On Kurogane’s character developement… it’s one of the things I like most about him. Or rather, it makes him so interesting. Seeing a character grow and change gradually over time is always cool, I love that kind of development! (especially when its a GOOD kind of change rather than bad, though the bad kind is also facinating XD;;) And he really is turning out to fill the Daddy role so much better than I thought he would XD!
