Harmonia bloom meets CLAMP original doll announced!

A new Harmonia bloom doll featuring a new character drawn by CLAMP has been announced.

A series following the process of creating the new doll will begin in the latest issue (vol. 41) of the doll and craft magazine Dollybird (featuring a new illustration by CLAMP).

About Harmonia bloom

“Harmonia bloom” represents harmony and flowers. The Harmonia bloom doll series was made with the concept of cute charm that transcends time, much like flowers.
Hand-painted makeup, elaborate glass eyes, body paint from fingertips to toes, and clothing designs inspired by the beauty of nature, traditional culture and stories.
These special dolls are packed with the creator’s thoughts and will bring color to your world.

So far, only one part of the illustration has been revealed:

There appears to be two characters? And water themed? Are they mermaids?

The Dollybird magazine seems to be released twice a year. I’m not sure but it seems like the full illustration is published in vol. 41 and upcoming issues shall continue reporting the production process. Based on past volumes, vol. 42 should come out around July/August.

This collaboration makes total sense. Following the momoko and Blythe dolls, it was about time this happened to Harmonia bloom as well.
