• Featuring CLAMP:
Wired Magazine has published an article about manga culture and it’s industry. The article featured a short interview with Ageha Ohkawa of CLAMP and her thoughts on doujinshis, which can be checked near the end of the article.
• Featuring CLAMP:
A special talk between Ageha Ohkawa and Shouko Nagakawa (“Shouko-tan”) will be published in the 75th issue of Quick Japan magazine. The talk is entitled “JoJo Bizarre Adventure ~ The culture of the ‘JOJO’ name” (or something around these lines ^^”), so we can safely assume it’s going to be centered on JoJo Bizarre Adventure.
You may remember Shouko-tan from the Wanna Gonna show when she visited CLAMP’s studio earlier this year.
The magazine goes on sale on December 10th.
• Books:
Satsuki Igarashi is going to write an essay for the reprint of Kami no Moribito (Guardian of the God) novel. The novel is part of the Moribito series written by Nahoko Uehashi.
The book will be released on January 2008.
• Event:
A booth showing original silver accessories designed by CLAMP (more specifically, Mokona) will be featured on the JAPAN EXPO 2007 event, to be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center from December 1st to 2nd.
This collection is also known as CLAMP’s Silver Powder, and it’s available for purchase at CLAMP-PLA.NET’s Mail Order (although I believe it’s restricted to the japanese territory). More pictures here.
• Event:
A new exposition, this time, the renewed version of the famous Girl’s Power! Shoujo Manga! exposition, which has traveled from Japan to America over the past years. The new version comes back to Japan, now at the Kawasaki City Museum, being held from February 16th to March 30th.
The exposition has a new name, Shoujo Manga Power! Tsuyoku, Yashashiku, Utsukushiku (Strong, Kind, Beautiful) and features original illustrations of many different Shoujo mangas, five of which were done by CLAMP.

Yeah, from now on, following XXXHOLiC is going to be a “taihen” task ^^” I’m more and more sure XXXHOLiC will end with 14 volumes everytime it gets delayed like that.

It’s too bad the Expo is on the 1st and the 2nd, since I have a tradeshow at the LA Convention Center starting on the 4th! Sometimes, depending on the size of the convention, events run at the same time, but not this time. :<
As for Tsubasa, I think it will only be a one-page color this time around. It's listed as "E-tobira," which only refers to the opening page.
My Tsubasa hasn't shipped yet from Japan, but hopefully soon. It doesn't look like there are any shortages…

Oh and thank you for mentioning the Wired article on manga, a friend mentioned it online to me and I thought it was very nicely done when I read it. And so we even bought a copy (and I didn’t even see the CLAMP interview until then!).

Pq elas mudam? Olha, eu naum sei te dizer com toda a certeza, mas eu acho q representa uma fase do manga. Por exemplo, os exames, agora a coleta dos corações machucados. O que virá depois?
Acho q inicialmente naum era pra ter nomes, era só pra ser “Capítulo”, mas isso ocorreu depois q mudou pra Newtype.
