Looks like Doumeki asks more about the lady with the butterfly kimono and Mokona looks worried because hello, Yuuko!
The girl is staying over at the shop, probably under Watanuki’s own recommendation after the girl claimed that a long haired woman was trying to kill her.
Soon enough, when Watanuki is going to check on the girl, he sees the silhouette of what clearly looks like Yuuko trying to choke the girl during her sleep. Once Watanuki opens the doors, however, nobody is there.
The girl then asks Watanuki is he knows anyone that goes by the name of “Yuuko-san”.
Just what the hell is going on here? We know Yuuko would never do that. If if she were to kill someone, surely she would use other methods than choking? And what’s with the “-san”? Would she really use that for herself? Sounds fishy to me.
Sounds like someone is trying to lure Watanuki using a very powerful bait…
14 pages for this chapter. 46 pages for volume 5 so far. Next chapter will be out on February 27 (less than a month, yay!) Hopefully it won’t get postponed.

no way that aint yuko! i refuse to believe she’d murder someone. and i doubt strangling would be her style anyway. im not even sure if the girl is legit either… the one in danger here could actually be watanuki. i think something or someone is using the ones he cares about to lure him in. we know that zashiki warashi is definitely in trouble from ame warashi
im sooo happy about xxx coming out again in less than a month but i hope that doesn’t lead onto hiatus for x amount of months because of this new manga clamp are releasing… clamp are onto a fantastic suspenseful story here for holic FINALLY after how long?! now i love holic but the last time i felt like this for holic was perhaps the unborn child spirit chapters. holic needs to go along these lines and speed from now on for sure. i dont wana go back to deep manly chats about food, alcohol, and legends.

We are dealing with a Zashiki Warashi look-alike and a Yuuko look-alike here. Watanuki is definitely the prey.
I am enjoying more XXXHOLiC now too. Each chapter is ending on a cliffhanger, it’s been a while since we had that last. I hope the releases will be faster than monthly as well!

The whiplash between Mokona’s comic scenes and dramatic moments is just ridiculous. Are we supposed to take this thing seriously when it starts giving Doumeki advice for the future?

Oh I see…well that’s not too bad… I’m just hoping they do release it cause they are onto a great plot! In the meantime we can thoroughly enjoy the new ccs cc chapter.
