New reborn life of clone!Sakura! She studies in the same school as Umi, Hikaru and Fuu! I had totally lost hope for these 3 but Ohkawa managed to fit them in ♥
When I saw the spoilers I was a little confused, I thought Sakura had been transferred to their school in Hong Kong, but reading the translation, it seems that Sakura already studied in the same school as Umi, Hikaru and Fuu (in Japan or whatever the country) and they are doing a trip in Hong Kong.
But wait a minute, I know Umi, Hikaru and Fuu studied in different schools in MKR, but maybe they started studying in the same school after the end of MKR2? We never know…
I want to think that this Hong Kong is not AU. I want to think this is our Hong Kong and that these are our MKR girls.
If the theory “the clones are the parents” is correct (which gets stronger with every chapter), they need to be reborn in a family that is related to Clow Reed. One of them, at least. And it would be perfect if this Syaoran here was born in the Li family. Although how come nobody ever told CCS!Syaoran about a relative that looks exactly like him? XD
Anyway, anyhow, I think these issues are easy to solve.
I love that Sakura loves to travel and visit different places because she hopes to find Syaoran, and Ohkawa made Hikaru say that she looks mature just to put some emphasis on the fact that Sakura kept all her memories from her previous life.
The scene with the reencounter is fucking BEAUTIFUL it hurts. But at the same time it was so rushed, LOL xD It almost didn’t feel like they missed each other that much *gets shot*
I like the pacing very much in here, that’s exactly what I was expecting. They reborn and met each other again in 16 pages, good.
Not sure how CLAMP will make the big revelation that they are the parents, now. Showing Jr. as their kid? Showing them going to the tube? We shall see.

at least Yuuko gets her happy ending though. She gets to die finally and see clow reed again in whatever version clamp has of the afterlife. Well, if they are in our Hong Kong, that means the Tokyo is the same as the MKR Tokyo, right? And there is only one version of Umi, Fuu and Hikaru in that world, me thinks xD I like to believe CLAMP stories all happen in the same universe, that’s why.
Mama and Papa should be born in Yuuko’s dimension in order for their son to get to her though.
I wonder is this is mandatory. I mean, they could have send him to another world? Or ask someone to do it. I’ve always wondered that.

Actually, I’m pretty sure it is mandatory they be from the same world. When Yuuko and Syaoran Jr. met for the “first” time…didn’t Syaoran say that he’d never traveled between worlds before? Meaning they’d have to be from the same world.

it is true we never really placed what dimension the MKR girls were before. So know the stats are CCS, Legal Drug, xxxHolic, (some of) Tsubasa, Suki, Kobato, MKR all happen in the same world. Tokyo Babylon and X happen in the same world, but wouldn’t our Japan be near it’s doom or current events in X if it was the same one as that one. Yuuko says at one point she knows Subaru (the one from Tokyo Babylon) *sigh*
Angelic Layer and Chobits happen in the same world…possibly a very future Japan of the other stories. Just like their other stories, they are placed in time lines that are TOO far back to have clues.

Chobits and AL are disconnected too. We have a Chitose who can’t have babies in Chobits and a Chitose who CAN have babies in Kobato. Different universes.

Magic Knight Rayearth 2 vol. 1, chapter 1. Just before the girls go back to Cephiro, we see their family worrying about their sad mood. In Fuu family, we only see her sister asking her to bring back some pastries from the Tokyo Tower café. Here’s a picture of her and a part of her Clamp uniform on Clamp no Subete :

Son|Syaoran stated clearly he came from Japan in chapter 190, while talking to princess Sakura inside the ruins. Yuuko is obviously located in Japan too.
I believe son|Syaoran pretty much went walking to Yuuko’s shop ^^;
They don’t have to be necessarily in China to wear chinese clothing you know? It can very well be by choice.

you’re right. I hadn’t thought of that…Shaoran as a child in the memories also talks about his home to Sakura and he mentions something about Japan. This story is so long I’m forgetting details, but a reread is kind of impossible before a new chapter comes out >.< thanks for pointing that out.

Yey!!! I also had given up hope for the MKR girls to show up, but they’re here!!! I’m so happy!!! (sorry…MKR fan) Anyway, and the reunion between the clones also made me cry. So far, this is the best chapter for me, not only because of the super awsome ending of the chapter, but because they showed my three favorite girls!!! I also hope this are the original MKR girls, and not from another dimension. It would be good to know that they went to the same high school after they graduated from middle school.

Yup, they were in 8th grade because they were 14 years old (middle schools in Japan go from 7th grade to 9th grade) so yeah, that’s why I think they probably went to the same high school ^^

I was totally impressed by the re encounter of the two, it was plain beautiful!! And Syaoran is plain aaawwwww XD XD XD
But…
Past the first moments, I started thinking and….And it’s actually a pretty sad encounter when I passed the surprise of seeing the pages the first time: you have to consider that if we discover in future chapters that they really *are* the ‘parents’ we know in TRC, they’ve got one Hell of an unfortunate future awaiting them real soon…
Terrible birth at the hand of an evil magician, disastrous life manipulated/lead by FWR plans and bloody heartbreaking deaths, anguishing pregnancy for Sakura who was thinking of the future her kid would have, catastrophic future for themselves and especially their kid who will go through endless pain, the weight of the Universe on their shoulders…this SxS pair got no luck ^^;;
I somehow wish for them that their story will end with this hug and a “happily ever after” line, but it doesn’t seem like Clamp will be sparing them…
That aside, what do you think about Yuuko last words, about the whole “the dream is only beginning for those kids”?

IDK, to me, it always seemed better if the CCS pair were the parents. But it is what it is.
About Yuuko…to me, it just seems that there is more in store. If you say that the dream is only beginning, it doesn’t seem like they would have that kind of horrible future awaiting them. Maybe its just to further point out the climax.

I’ve been wondering about that XD It’s complicated because:
1) Yuuko is finally DEAD. Would seem so pointless to bring her back since she doesn’t want to. But, at the same time…
2) Watanuki was so serious about his promise.
Which will be? XD Maybe he will change his mind… or maybe he will just take her place in the store hoping she’ll return some day.

A revival of Yuuko is not really an option in my mind but having Watanuki wait forever doesn’t seem to be the right conclusion either…
So yes, the thought I had was that he would progressively take her place in the store, helping people the best he could, with his own powers, like he had been doing.
On the other side, there is always the reincarnation option but I’m not too sure about that…not at all in fact ^^;

It really feels weird though: we just witnessed the decease of Yuuko (feels like crying again) but the reincarnated Clone|SxS wouls possibly meet her in the future for *supposedly* the first time while they actually have known her and trader with her many times, how awkward will that be? XD XD
The fact they are all in different dimensions and time lines makes things pretty interesting actually: so in Clone|SxS new reality, they left Yuuko dying behind them in their past lives but will meet her fully alive in a couple of years for their son; can we cheat and say Yuuko is *somehow* still alive in determined Time lines? 😛 *not!*
Sincerely, I believe she is truly happy now, that is why I couldn’t get too sad about her.

Clone|SxS reincarnated just before Yuuko’s time has moved once again and which, She has returned back to where she should be [passed away 😦 ] a long time ago. I don’t really understand how Yuuko would come back “alive” again ^^;;; Unless this spinned back with just as Yuuko: in reality, she was halted up in time between line of life and death; however, through “dream” [Yuuko one]… she has been appearing as alive and interacting with everyone in ‘holic world, meeting and granting wishes for her clients, going in and out of her shop in ‘holic world etc.
And which Clone|SxS whole reincarnation life is as yet another “dream”. [where they are actually in reality is unknown] Would that then conveniently explain how despite Clone|Syaoran in reality is “cloned from son|Syaoran by FWR at the beginning” and yet, it is now turning around as son|Syaoran’s parents?

And if Clone|SxS do indeed turned out to be son|Syaoran’s parents “somehow”, with the memories that they have from their previous life… I don’t believe they are going to make the same choice IF this dream somehow has the dimension witch in existence to repeat the same tragic life that has been told in TRC ^^;;;;

Yes, it’s a very complex time paradox. But it works exactly as you said.
The clones left Yuuko and they were born in the same world, but years earlier. In their new life, they will meet Yuuko again, for their son and also when they are inside the tube.
It’s all about experiencing the events in the right order. To Yuuko, everything happened already, but the clones haven’t experienced yet, they will do it now in their new life.
It’s confusing, but that’s pretty common in stories about time-travel =)

Isn’t that being kind of overly dramatic? The pain they went through in their past lives is in the past, and they both chose to live with the weight of those memories, if it meant they’d be able to be together. And hell, even then, they’ll also remember all the good moments.
And the other stuff… Sakura’s pregnancy being “anguishing” is an assumption; I’m sure she was worried, but it’s still SAKURA and it’s still her kid, and I’m sure she wouldn’t spend all nine months in horrible pain because of the future that awaited her son. Catastrophic futures? If you mean the deal with the tube, they made that decision themselves. It was to help both their kids. So it’s sad, yes (it’s kind of the idea, apparently), but I’d hardly call it “catastrophic”.

Umm…Regarding the death of Yuuko, although I am sad with her departure, this is really what she wants and I hope there will not be any other thing happen to make her painful again.
Her words…it’s just make sense because the clones need to become parents and to be in the tube, so it’s kind of a beginning for them?
Well, Watanuki, I think he will ultimately accept the truth that Yuuko is gone. He will fulfill Yuuko’s wish by continue to live for himself and the people surrounding him. Will Yuuko appear again? I am not sure but I do not like the idea of reincarnation, it is just IN EXCESS, ok? Someone dear is gone is an inevitable part of our lives, right?

I also don’t get how it’s a happy ending this way, but if they’re the parents, somehow all the tragedies in their past add up to their misery. Those’d count either way, wouldn’t they? If the clones can smile like that despite of the stuff that went on in their past lives, I’m sure they can be fine even if they have to suffer through more pain in the future.
Besides, when we see the parents show up in the battle, they both seem calm and happy. If they’d been suffering so horribly, I doubt they’d be smiling.

Since he started traveling after Hikaru became Cephiro’s new pillar this means Clow should be still alive and around. Yuko also. Unless the clones reincarnate in the apst or Yuko is in another dimension or CLAMP want to drive us insane…

Yes, I remember this one about Jr.
It might be when he got to Yuko’s shop he had no idea he travelled through dimensions, his father sent him to Yuko using magic and, since well he was still in Japan he never realized he was in an alternate version of it.
Also it might be that Yuko’s shop is connected to more than one world.
however my best guess is that Yuko’s shop isn’t in the same world as CCS.
Clow traveled to Clow (how horrible this sound… -_-) and she traveled to that dimension and opened up her shop.
Also it’s possible that Shaoran and Sakura moved to Yuko’s world before Jr’s birth but somehow it doesn’t seem believable…
Either way CLAMP had been deliberately vague about all this so there could be more surprises coming.
(the thing that scared me the most was that in TRC manga we’ve ghost helping Sakura while she’s in Tokyo… while in the OAV she’s helped by the ghost of CCS… probably it meant nothing but it made me think CCS’s world might become Tokyo that will become Clow…)
Now, after all tose time paradox… the last we need is to discover Watanuki will become Fei Wong because he wishes to save Yuko no mattere price… -_-

Because you can meet anyone in a dream regardless of being in the same dimension or not as long as you have yumemi powers.
And because I think they were reborn in the same world as CCS only a few years earlier. Jr. told Yuuko in their first meeting that he never travelled between worlds before. So he is alive in that dimension for 7 years.
That is why CCS!Sakura was a teenager while mama!Sakura looked much older.

I've read the chapter last night and it is so sweet for reborn Syaoran and Sakura. The fact that Syaoran plants Sakura tree in Hong Kong makes me feel so warm and sweet ^V^ It will be very special and unique in Hong Kong for blooming Sakura, I have never seen one myself. Syaoran's act is just SWEET!
Back to the theory, it's now 99.99% sure that Cloney are reborn to be the parent, at least that's what I think. My belief that Clone.Syaoran was reborn in a Li family seems confirmed ^.^ (He wears those characteristic clothes)

Erm…actually it’s only because it is rare in HK to find Sakura tree, and in my mind it would be a sweet act from Syaoran to plant it because of Sakura’s importance to him~ So you may as well think it is only fangirling XD

I turned into a happy puddle of fuzzy goo at the clonies being reunited, but the idea of Sakura and Syaoran spending years and years apart, always searching for each other broke my heart.
I’m not a fan of this lingering death for Yuuko. Perhaps it’s just because the chapters have been released so slowly of late but she seems to be taking an awfully long time. I’d much rather she didn’t die at all, but if she must then I want closure dammit! ;_;

This chapter is sooo cute =3 especially when clone!sakura and clone!syaoran met again under the sakura tree.. it’s just like what happened during the nihon arc but instead of sakura dying, they’re happy that they have met together again ^_^ i can’t wait to see what will happen on the next issue.. hopefully clamp will show us the situation of the parents and the real sakura and syaoran..
also, about the theory of cloneys being the parents of the reals, it’s quite possible.. ^.^ although the downside of it is that clone!syao can’t be the parent of real!syao.. it’s because the clone doesn’t have any magic remember?? and so does the clone!sakura.. the parents of R!Syaoran have both magic circles (sakura-star circle; syao-his board “in which he uses on finding the clow cards” circle)and through that, R!Syao also has one (just like his father); therefore,i think, the clones can’t possibly the parents of the R!syao..

But this is great, it connects MKR with X and the rest. Actually it connects the whole CLAMP world into one xD (except Chobits and AL)

Yes, the uniforms in this chapter sre definitely new. But I don’t thing the girls are attending Clamp Gakuen too. Maybe the MK girls who went to Cephiro should be, but I’m not the MK girls stuying with Sakura are the same. Well I can’t no longer say how all these worlds connect. It’s getting so confusing. T_T
And Hikaru look so weird with her all black hair. I’m so used to see her with loads of screen tone. ^_^
Fuu wears her hair longer, it gives her a more romantic feeling. ^_^
And I miss Yuuko already, though I know we will see her again in the future past of the clones. ^_~

I think she was referring to the reincarnated versions of the clones (Real Syaorans Parents)not the clones themselves.

So.. I’ve been floating around the community here and there to get all my good CLAMP news (mostly TRC/XXXHOLIC) and what not.

And I had an idea that just dawned on me, as far fetched as it might be, I thought I would share.
What if Reincarnated C!Sakura is the daughter of CSS Sakura and CSS Syaoran? And C!Syaoran was reborn into the Li Family some where. Possibly one of Syaoran’s sisters. Yeah, that would make them related, but that never seems to be an issue with a lot of manga or the ladies of CLAMP for that matter.
Then R!Syaoran would be the son of the reborn clones. Since the clones retained all their memories they would know to send their son back in time to be with and save R!Sakura (Clow Country).
Which that whole discombobulation$(%&(@#&$ of a story results in the clones being made.
Or I could be completely wrong and I just like to make myself confused. I could keep going with this but I want to keep it simple.
