CLAMP NEWS !!

– Next scheduled chapters (red means new):

05/10 – Newtype #06 – Drop. 7 – Attachment: Kobato. clear file. Kobato. mini-bag application service.
06/10 – Newtype #07 – No Kobato. scheduled.
07/10 – Newtype #08 – Drop. 8.

Oh good, Kobato. is back in July =)

05/14 – Shonen Magazine #24 – Chapter 190 (on sale).
05/21 – Shonen Magazine #25 – No Tsubasa scheduled.
05/28 – Shonen Magazine #26 – Chapter 191.
06/04 – Shonen Magazine #27 – No Tsubasa scheduled.

Serializations seems a bit off, and I don’t think Chapter 191 is the last one of tankoubon 24 either…

• Comics:

Tsubasa #24 will be released on July 17.

05/12 – Young Magazine #24 – No XXXHOLiC scheduled (on sale).
05/19 – Young Magazine #25 – No XXXHOLiC scheduled.

They don’t mention any color pages, but I think they’ll add that information later, or worse, they might postpone the release.

• Drama CD:

The story of the Drama CD to be attached in the limited edition of XXXHOLiC #13 will be entitled Shiminuki (シミヌキ).

So I guess it’ll be the same story written by two different perspectives, Ohkawa’s and Ryukishi07’s.

• DVD:

The jacket illustration of XXXHOLiC◆Kei DVD Volume 1 is available at the anime official website.

• CLAMP in CARDLAND:

In July UpperDeck will release theme decks based on CLAMP works. Entitled Dramatic Decks, Volume 1 will be centered on Card Captor Sakura and Volume 2 X and Tokyo Babylon. Each deck will have 45 cards in total and all cards will be related to the series the deck is based on.

From what I could understand, apart from the cards already released on Series 1, 2 and 3, these decks will carry 5 new cards too.

My guesses were all right! Yay me xD Suu and Nokoru look adorable, I’m surprised at Sakura’s design (where’s the fairy dress?), I guess the design of “The Other Syaoran” will be based on that illustration too O.o No surprises for Hikaru but I’m so glad they picked that PlayStation 2 game cover to design Kamui’s figure, I love that illustration! We can have an idea of what Fuuma’s figure will look like.

The 7th Series of CLAMP in 3-D LAND will be released this summer.

    I actually own the Clamp in CardLand series 1&2 (though I don’t have them all since the cards in the packages comes randomly…) and will also buy the 3th one next month…
    So are those new decks worth being bought considering I’m already getting the CiC ones? It would be really awful of them if those *5 extras cards* are actually the best ones (I’m sure they will do that…).Oh, and by ‘new’ cards’, they only mean ‘new colored cards’, not ‘new drawings/arts’ by Clamp, neh? (because if it’s he case, I’m buying them for sure)

    • I think you should wait for when it’s released, maybe we can get a glimpse of the new cards. But if I were you, I wouldn’t buy it just for the sake of the 5 new cards. They make these decks for those interested in only playing with a CCS deck or a X/TB deck, I think.

      No, in March they published Drop. 6, in April they published an untitled chapter, that ended up being Drop. 6 part 2. Now in May they published Drop. 7.

      So Drop. 8 comes out in July ^_~

    and clamp slambed on the breaks all of a sudden. Tsubasa turned into every other week publishing and Holic isn’t going out until next month. They’re being weird again, but they do deserve a break.

    Thanks for the latest CLAMP news and updates. So a little breaker in between for TRC, ne. I can’t wait to see the next chapter now that it’s getting more exciting since Chapter 189!! >///< That's too bad about no Kobato in June. *sobs a little*, but HOLiC will be coming back soon. As for the CLAMP in 3-D LAND, all of them are so nice. Suu looks very pretty! Demo ne, Sakura-hime in with the outfit from the Chapter 100 Splash Page is so beautiful! *bliss* Fangirl "Squee" Level: Meltdown Alert!! Oh my gosh, I simply love the experssion of her face and very adorable with Mokona. KAWAII!! ^///^ ♥ ♥ ♥

    Our guesses were right for CLAMP in 3D land !
    I’m also surprised at Sakura’s design, especially when I think about the other Shaolan design…but she’s very pretty ! prettier than the first one,and we have little white Mokona too ^^
    Kamui is very nice ! I like the original illustration too.
    Suh is cute >w<
    I hope we'll have Shirahime-Shô for the final serie !

    And…I want more Kobato !!!!I miss her ^^

      You’re not mistaken ^^ Somebody said that the next set will have another Sakura with the fairy dress. But as far as we know, there will be only one Sakura in the next set, that is CCS!Sakura.

    Hm.. seems like June scheduling for CLAMP is a bit lay-back!! Kobato is out.. TRC is a “little” bit unstable and xxxholic [well, is there a chance that they will do xxxholic straight for JUNE ??]

    Though I wonder who really could make it into the very last set of the 3D-land??

    ETA:
    Actually now that I remembered, during the “last” report you posted up. Chapter 190 IS suppose to be the last chapter for tankoubon 24 [or unless there’s a change of plan]!! So I wonder if we got “color pages” for Ch 191?? And as well, xxxholic didn’t report whether there are color pages or not for Ch 158~~ Hm… strange~~

      When they announced the characters for the 7th Series I did a speculation on who will definitely be on the last set and who MIGHT end up there. Check some posts back if you really wanna know ^^

      Well, these “last chapter of tankoubon X” are only my own assumptions. It’s not official information, they are purely based on my guesses ^^

  21. Dang it. :\ Tsubasa is still a bit unstable.. and it makes me sad. D8 Yay, a release date for volume 24, anyway~

    The 7th series of CLAMP in 3-D LAND looks AMAZING though, and even if I’m really disappointed Sakura isn’t wearing the fairy dress.. I still love her design. ♥
    It’s probably my favourite set next to the first set. ^A^

    .. Anyway, the return of ‘Holic is hopefullyyyy in sight now! :D;
