CLAMP NEWS !!

– Next scheduled chapters (red means new):

02/09 – Newtype #03 – Drop. 5 (on sale).
03/10 – Newtype #04 – Drop. 6 – Information about Kobato. #2.
04/10 – Newtype #05 – Drop. 7.

A new campaign?

– Next scheduled chapters (red means new):

02/27 – Shonen Magazine #13 – Chapter 183 (on sale).
03/05 – Shonen Magazine #14 – Chapter 184.
03/12 – Shonen Magazine #15 – No Tsubasa scheduled.
03/19 – Shonen Magazine #16 – Chapter 185.

A little break there, but it’s back on track again on the following week.

03/03 – Young Magazine #14 – No XXXHOLiC scheduled (on sale).
03/10 – Young Magazine #15 – No XXXHOLiC scheduled (CLAMP changed that. Chapter 152 was supposed to come out here).

03/24 – Young Magazine #17 – No XXXHOLiC scheduled.

As you can see, Chapter 152 was postponed for a week.

• Anime:

XXXHOLiC◆Kei will begin its broadcast on April 3rd, a Thursday, at 1:59 AM on TBS (in reality, this is actually 1:59 AM of Friday, a new “day” on television begins only at 5:00 AM).

They have also updated Ohkawa’s name to “Nanase Ohkawa” in the staff list. Talk about last minute changes xD

• Event:

Because I said I would keep you informed, my friend Yoshiyuki-kun managed to buy a ticket to the XXXHOLiC event via Yahoo Auctions. He will be there and that means we’ll have at least one report of the event (but surely others will be available too). Thanks for everybody who cheered, “we won the war” xDDD

• CLAMP in CARDLAND:

There will be an official convention for CLAMP in CARDLAND that will take place in Tokyo, on May 11th, and Osaka, on May 18th. CLAMP themselves won’t be there, I assume this is a convention for players to battle against each other.

PS: When I checked the PROFILE section earlier, they had updated Ohkawa’s name to “Nanase”, but alas, they have changed it back to “Ageha”, no idea why. I swear I saw it! xD They should correct it anytime soon. CLAMP-PLA.NET has yet to update too.

EDIT: They’ve fixed it now. Both the PROFILE section at CLAMP-NET.COM and CLAMP-PLA.NET have been updated with Ohkawa’s “new” name.

    • I find it unfair too, seeing XXXHOLiC’s schedule xD

      I would say CLAMP is taking a break on that week. Because both TRC and XXXHOLiC are on a break.

      I’m so glad too!!!! He’ll not be able to take any pictures because you know very well the rules. I’ll try to lure him to at least try to record it, but the recording device might be confiscated too in the entrance.

  59. Can’t wait to next Kobato’s chapter to see which illustration will be use for the cover (likely the second Newtype cover, but we never know).

    Three breaks within five issues, they haven’t been that lazy since mid 2004, a few months before the one month break! XD (beteween chapters 52 to 55) Are they taking a break after the OAD rush or are they buying time to release tankoubon 24 with the first OAD of a new set?

    So no xxxholic nor Tsubasa for the week 15, hopefully it’s Fullmetal Alchemist’s week, it won’t be a totally manga-less week for me.

    Lots of news for xxxHolic, Ohkawa did chage Ageha for Nanase in the end, with only one month to go before the airing. o.O

      Hahaha I think now that the pressure has lowered, they are taking it a lot easier xDDDDD But if there’s more OADs ahead, then we should have the crazy schedule back again xD
