CLAMP NEWS !!

– Next scheduled chapters (red means new):

01/10 – Newtype #02 – Drop. 4 (on sale).
02/09 – Newtype #03 – Drop. 5.
03/10 – Newtype #04 – Drop. 6.

No new additions for Kobato.

– Next scheduled chapters (red means new):

01/30 – Shonen Magazine #09 – Chapter 181 (on sale).
02/06 – Shonen Magazine #10 – Chapter 182 – Possibly last chapter of tankoubon 23.

Double break, uh, that’s bad… probably the usual break between one volume and another.

• Ranking:

There was quite a surprising twist in Tohan’s ranking where Tsubasa jumped from 5th to 1st position!

1st – Tsubasa #22
2nd – Mahou Sensei Negima!! #21
3rd – Jyushinenbu HERO TALES #2

In Animate’s ranking, Tsubasa #22 appears now at the 10th position after its second release week.

• CLAMP in CARDLAND Official Catalog:

As I has posted here previously, Kodansha will release an official book covering the entire 1st series of CLAMP in CARDLAND plus a sneak peek at the 2nd one. The book will be released on February 15th and the first print will come with two limited story cards as a privilege.

• CLAMP’s Silver Powder:

The jewelry designed by Mokona and confectioned by Wargo will now be available for purchase in several stores of Japan, starting from February 15th. Some of the cities include Harajuku and Kawasaki.

• Code Geass:

There’s a new promotional video for the upcoming Code Geass new series, set to start broadcast in April.

    Two chapters of xxxHolic, good but no one of TRC?

    So, this time, Holic is the protagonist, and TRC takes a break.
    Sounds strange, but I’m really, really really HAPPY to see holic again!!! *OO*

    February is a good holicist month.
    Gyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

    I hope, with this two chapters, to reach a climax point!

    No Tsubasa in two weeks… Ugh (T-T) Which means it’s actually three weeks if not longer, because we still don’t know if we’ll get a chapter after that break.

    • Yeah, we still don’t know, but I really doubt there will be a third break. These breaks are in order for CLAMP to draw the colored pages, so they need some time. Besides, it’s been a while since Tsubasa appeared on the front cover, maybe it’ll appear in SM #13?

    • I don’t give much attention to jewelry either, that’s because I’m a guy, LOL, but even in women, I don’t really care about it. But these ones are so cute and adorable! The rabbits, the frogs and the doves!

  25. A two week break for Tsubasa, it ‘s the first ime they can take such a long break since the started the OAD’s project. I wonder if the break will last longer than 2 weeks…

    Or maybe they are buying time to release another set of OAD with the next few tankoubon. Too bad we didn’t get the cover for #23 this time.

    Two chapters of xxxHolic in a row again? I must be dead. XD

    I might get the official catalog instead of the actual cards, that will take less room and will be less troblesome to aquire.

    On a side note: Oh! Jûshin embu’s second tankoubon is out? I better put it in my next amazon order.

  31. I just read on 2ch that Namikawa-san is due to appear on the Komugikotoride radio in March. It pretty much seemed confirmed, but do you have any means to check on the CLAMP-PLA site about it? ……So Namikawa fans (like me) can celebrate with DOUBLE CONFIDENCE? 😀 😀

    Without even being on the show, Namikawa has already been talked about by CLAMP and Sakamoto Maaya-san in a couple of previous episodes. Imagine how CLAMP would treat him when he finally goes on the show!

    Sorry to intrude in your journal like this with a selfish-like request- I’m obviously a bit too giddy with happiness. Sorry!

      Well, they don’t say anything about it. They used to announce the guests in CLAMP-NET, but eventually they stopped doing that. Now we know which guest will appear in the very moment the episode is released.

      But if it says in 2ch, I’m pretty sure it’s confirmed ^^

  32. okay two Q’s: does the catalouge have images of all the cards (cause that’s what i’m really after…) and where can I get it for fairly decent pricing since from amazon Japan I have to pay 3000yen for shipping on a 1238yen product…

      Although they haven’t said in such literal way, I’m quite confident it will. It’s a catalog after all, I think you’ll find them all in there.

      That, I do not know, unfortunately. I don’t know if any western online stores will be selling it since it’s not so much of a big merchandise such as a calendar, artbook or a DVD… I’m sorry, I guess you’ll have to keep searching on YesAsia, who is known to have some japanese CLAMP products =\

  33. Kohane Arc is sooo Boring. XxX Holic that used to be kinda cool gets the angst of Tsubasa.

    Now that Tsubasa is getting awesome again after so much angst we have a two weeks stop.
