Let’s start with Ohkawa’s latest post of her Private Board where she reveals the songs she’s listening to while writing the Celes arc.


BGM

Tsubasa.

After going to Celes country, the BGM* has been mainly 2.

The one I had decided beforehand**, “Atashi to Waltz wo” (Chihiro Onitsuka-san).

Ever since it was released on March of this year, I intended to write the script of Celes while listening to it, “Universe” (Maaya Sakamoto-san).

Even now I’m listening to it.

XXXHOLiC game updates:

The official website for the XXXHOLiC game for PS2 has been updated. The most interesting update is that we can finally see the Promotional Video and the CM for the game in the Special section.

The videos are short but it’s worth checking for those interested in buying it.

Ah, for the Doumeki/Watanuki fangirls, make sure to check the Story section xD

The game will be released on August 9th.

Speaking of XXXHOLiC, I would like to make an open request, not sure if I’ll be corresponded XD canon_4_life-san and other people asked me if I could find someone willing to make a transcript of the XXXHOLiC Drama CD. If anyone is interested, the link to download the CD can be found here. Any help is highly appreciated!

    • It seems like Onitsuka Chihiro and Maaya Sakamoto are the official singers for Tsubasa ^^ Ohkawa had listened to “Sign” (Chihiro) to write a chapter of the Hanshin arc and “Spika” (Maaya) to write one of the Tokyo arc X3

      • I had to check cuz for a sec I thought they were British, haha. But they’re a Canadian alternative rock band xD They’ve won many awards and were all over MTV for a long time tho, so it startles me when someone hasn’t heard of them XDD

        And I read your interview, it was very nice XD It was like watching a TV/magazine interview by professionals, LOL ♥

    And OMG, I just SO want Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows… I’m planning on buying it in english; I don’t think I can wait half a year for reading it (Spanish version is always released 6 months later ;__;)

      The Brazilian edition will be released on November, but EVEN if it were released on July, I would still buy the english version, it’s SO much better to read it in english X33 And it’s quite an easy reading, if I can do it, you can! XD

  5. Também quero DH 😦 Acho que vou comprar em inglês.

    Vc já leu o MST de HBP feito num LJ? Um cara que não gosta de Harry Potter leu HBP e comentou capítulo por capítulo, dando uma nota no final de cada um. Ele é bem sarcástico, mas a coisa toda é hilariante, e vale muito a pena ler. Se ele está numa parte chata, ele insere personagens de Dragon Ball, Transformers, Lanterna Verde e faz uma tremenda maluquice. O legal é que, mesmo não gostando de HP, ele admite se gostou de uma parte ou se achou uma cena bem escrita. Ele mete bronca na crítica, mas é bem gente fina.

    Mais recentemente ele também fez a mesma coisa com Prisioneiro de Azkaban e Pedra Filosofal XD esses dois se saíram bem piores no conceito dele…

  15. Thank you for searching out the 2 songs, they’re really nice. Atashi to Waltz wo is rather sad.. It practically screamed “Fai” at me too.. Universe even though also sounded a bit sad, I feel that there is a bit of a hopeful tune embedded in it.. Maybe it’s just me hoping for a happy ending for Fai =P

    I really hope someone will respond to make a transcript for Holic =)

    The interview is interesting!

    Even though I’m more of a KuroFai fangirl now, it’s cos’ of S/S that I started reading Tsubasa, I hope that they too will have a happy ending like in CCS.

    I agree about Ohkawa-sensei.. Even though I do complain about Fai’s suffering, it’s amazing that CLAMP can always come up with surprises in the chapters. I don’t know what to expect and it’s interesting like that. Sometimes, I think that by the end of Tsubasa, I’ll enjoy rereading the series cos’ it’s been such a ride, full of ups and downs. It’s really like real life, isn’t it?

    Thank you for your hard work in Room of Requirement and Chibi-Yuuto’s Chronicles! The updates on your LJ has been especially helpful to me (with news, links and more) and I appreciate them =D

    I hope X will return soon too.. Followed by Gouhou Drug =)
