Tsubasa Chronicle DVD Box illustration

I haven’t seen this around, so I’m not sure if this has been posted before. But anyway, I found pictures of the DVD BOX of Tsubasa Chronicle 2nd Season.


I realized later that CLAMP-NET had posted a preview pic, but I missed that ^^”

Very pretty image, the composition of the scenario kind of reminds me of that Seishirou/Subaru one from the X anime.

The Box comes as a privilege for those who purchase the 7th DVD of the 2nd season, which is currently on sale.

    Very pretty image, the composition of the scenario kind of reminds me of that Seishirou/Subaru one from the X anime.

    …that’s just what I thought. XD

    …but seriously, nothing could make me buy that monstrosity of an adaption.

  2. Buying this horrible anime would only be worth it because of the BEAUTIFUL BOX. I’m in love!!!!
    I want to see KuroFay’s part better!!! I want the pic!!! (*O*)

    • I love their outfits too ! The wings pattern is very pretty. And oh, Kurogane’s scar is so clear !

      What a beautiful image, I hope we will have a high res picture of this soon.

      Syaoran reminds of a Doumeki picture of the same setting, where he’s standing infront of a the paper door too.

      That is becasue they are more canon that SyaoxSaku XDDDDDDDDD In the other dvd box they were on the same side as well ^___^

  8. Wow… That’s so pretty! Though, compared to the anime, the box seems very dark (though it’s perfectly in line with the manga!). Though.. i can’t help but think “thank god it’s finally over…!”

    • LOL XD But you’ll only have to buy the last one. At least it’s not the WHOLE series (that way they’ll see that the last volume sold more just because CLAMP drew the cover xD And that way they’ll always draw the covers xD)

    • Maybe 10 years from now, like they are doing with CCS, they might re-release a one huge box with all the DVDs (but god, this series is not worth it, I’d prefer it to be dead and buried).

    This is so… so… wonderfull. I love it. Maybe I will buy the oh so boring and disgusting anime just for the KuroFay side, but that will be a problen because I have no money at all >

        Yes, I does since nobody tears apart nobody’s body parts in the anime. ^_~

        Because the box have 3 sides so you put your main characters (Syao and Sakura) on one panel each and put the remaining, Fye and Kurogane, on the last one, then you add mokona to a main character panel. Et voilà! You’ve got a wonderful box. ^_~

  22. yeah… i already knew from Loop… and the thing that really worth is the cover. i cant stand watching the anime!

  23. So cute! I thought of X third DVD-Box too.

    The bird wings on each kimono is representative of their personnality. Cute doves for Sakura, daring seagulls for Syaoran, combative hawks for Kurogane and sinister crows for Fye. That guy is so unworthy of any trust. He’s probably linked to the countless death that happen in his country. ¬_¬

      Perfect analysis ! That’s exactly how I see them. Doumeki also had a hawk pattern in his kimono, if I’m not mistaken, and I think he bird in his arm is a hawk too.

      I wouldn’t be surprised AT ALL if that was the case xD

      • I guess I’m mean with poor Fye-fye. The crows are in the sky behind Sakura and not on his kimono. Looking at their tails, Fye’s black birds are harmless swallows, birds that run away from the winter frosty bites by migrating far, far away. Totaly him ^_~

        Exactly, he had a hawk on his forearm in the color picture of volume 7 and we saw Watanuki with swallows around him on chapter 104 (with Doumeki of course, I mean it’s chapter 104 after all ^_~).

        From the beggining, his smile sooooo remembered me of Sakurazuka Seishirou. ^_^ And once again, I want to be in Ceres. -_-

        • Looking at your analysis the crows part almost killed me, but now I totally agree with the swallow symbol, same wings and tail:

          Here in Spain they come every summer, loooots of them and are very noisy XDDD

            Gomen ne for overlooking the picture! ^_~ I thought the crows were a bit too much for CLAMP who usualy aren’t that obvious with a myterious character, so I checked back. The swallows are suiting Fye much more.

            Here in Canada we have bunch of them too. Every spring my mother is fighting them to make sure no nest will be made on our house. Swallows are cute, but they can dirty your porch in no time. ~_~
