-According to them, CLAMP will draw the cover for XXXHOLiC’s official guide book, out on November 17th.
-They also confirmed what I posted previously about the release of tank 10 on November 17 as well (weird thing is that TRC #17 will be out on the same date but there’s nothing on their site about it o.o).
Magazine:
-There will be something about XXXHOLiC on Animage’s November Edition (out on October 11th), I just can’t tell you what it is because the link at CLAMP-NET it’s broken xDDD It’s probably an interview, though.
DVD:
-Check out the cover of the 4th DVD here, featuring fancy Watanuki and Himawari (the image resembles very much the color page of vol 3).
-They announced new good stuff that will come with the upcoming DVDs, all of them belonging to the “Monthly XXXHOLiC” special booklet, the coolest of them is a CLAMP interview that shall come with the 5th DVD’s special booklet.
Anime:
-So far, there has been no news about a second season of the anime series, and all the official sources tell that the series is really over (Production IG’s website, Ohkawa and Nekoi’s private board at CLAMP-PLANET, etc). None of them confirm it, but also none of them deny it. So if you ask me, it could be that the announcement will be given sometime in the future. I think we can hope for it until the end of the year, when they normally announce the Spring series.
Does anyone remember how it was with CCS? Did they announce the 2nd and 3rd seasons right away? Or they waited a little?
ETC:
Dimension Zero:
-They finally put up samples of the illustration CLAMP will draw for the Dimension Zero card series:
It’s so small you can barely see it XD But the colors sure look different O.o The series will be put on the market on October 28th.
CLAMP in 3-D LAND:
-There will be a fair sponsored by Animate’s stores from November 1st to 30th, celebrating the release of the series. Special postcards will be given as a present for those who buy at least 1000 yens of CLAMP products.
-The second bounce of the series will be released on February 2007, and will come with the figures of: Syaoran (TRC), Freya (Chobits), Rikuou Himura (Gouhou Drug), Yasha-ou (RG Veda), Hikaru + Suzuhara Misaki (Angelic Layer).
-Also, CLAMP will draw the illustrations for the packages (probably full of SD characters? ^0^).
Before leaving, let say that CLAMP-NET’s layout is getting old already. It’s been more than a year since they changed it, the web designer part of me wants to see a redesigned version XDDD But really, I think this is the longest period they’ve ever been using the same layout.

That 2nd TRC DVD cover is puke. It is interesting that the chapters for both series’ new tankubon are starting the same day, especially given that there seems to be an exceptional amount of crossover going on lately. I’m losing hope for more Holic anime, which is very sad (I’ll trade you a crap season of TRC for another season of good Holic…). Thanks for the news!

You know that might actually happen? There are some rumors going on that there won’t be a 3rd season of TC. I’m not 100% sure about it yet, but I’m doing my researches on it ^^

Really? Sad to say, but I would not be very bothered. This season, it’s either filler or they’ve forgotten how to draw the characters. More time to watch Code Geass. ^_^

Hmm, I don’t know why but I can’t see the pics. ^^; That’s interesting about the seven chapters in Volume 17- but they have been pretty long chapters. And actually, I don’t really like the cover of the second character guide- it’s exactly like 90% of the TRC covers. xd And reminds me of boy bands. I think we need to follow s advice and start a support group hoping for a second HOLiC season. xd It kinda seems like they’re releasing the CLAMP in 3D Land figurines in somewhat of a series-by-series basis- interesting.

It’s surely a good idea, but honestly, it’s hard to believe it’s gonna work out. I mean, they don’t really listen to us, ocidentals. The ones who should do it are the japanese themselves, and I know that they really want a 2nd season.

who knows what clamp is going to do their so mysterious. LOL I just want to see other clamp character in Tsubasa, Like Hikaru, Fuu, Umi, and other characters that haven’t shown up yet. I am hoping that they’ll show up before tsubasa ends.

I also wonder about Hikaru, Umi and Fuu, it’ll be weird indeed if they don’t show up. But I don’t think the X world will be the last one as well so, maybe they’ll show up soon ^_^

I love the calander and I hope it comes in time to use it. I started using this years in July that took a loooooon time to come. I can’t wait to see the mokona modoki calander.

Jitsu wa Chibi-Yuuto, Volume 17 will be 8 chapters long (I kept count on that one). ^__^ Oh my gosh, I think that the Holitsuba Syndrome disease that I’m already suffering is spreading on you as well. XDDDDDD And don’t mention me about HOLiC, I already am starting to suffer with this 3-week no-HOLiC abuse *sobs*.
About the cover of the 2nd Character Guide: Honto Kawaii!!! ^o^ Love their clothes, especially all the Tsubasa men wearing hats!! I’m too sexy for my hat, too sexy for my hat!!! XDDDDD
Kurogane’s clothes, the hat, and the pose reminds me of Sorata in Volume 1 of X (only better!). Fai’s clothes and most of all his hat makes him look twice as better than Queer Eye’s Carson Kressley. Carson Kressley, eat you heart out!! I’ve always loved Syaoran wearing sleeveless clothes and with the attitude combination, it makes him look so hot!! ^////^ *faints*
Anyway, I have not much opinion about the 2nd season DVD covers of Tsubasa. I really like the 1st season DVD covers better. The 4th HOLiC DVD cover look pretty cool, the 2 Mokona for the calendar cover is total love ^///^, and about Kobato (a.k.a.: The girl with the hat! XDDD) I hope that color pages will be provided!! I can’t wait for my beloved Ioryogi to return!!!

Holic’s DVD covers kick Tsubasa’s so hard it isn’t even funny. They actually resemble the manga chapter title pages. -_-‘
Three weeks…the only consolation is that Tsubasa is on full on plot right now, so it’s not that bad. The color pages and tanks coinciding with each other is interesting, it seems like all these breaks are meant to keep the series more parallel with one another. Hopefully Sei-chan follows Kamui and Subaru’s pattern and shows up in the last chapter of tank 17.
I’m hoping for some nice color pages this time (hopefully of four certain characters), but I’m not that optimistic. D:

I also have hope for a second season of xxxHOLiC. I think, if Tsubasa anime (at least second season) is a crap, and it is supposed that they will be 3 seasons, why xxxHOLiC can’t have a second one?. Well the time always will tell…
BTW, it looks like I was right with some of my expectations of CLAMP in 3-D Land (O.K. maybe was luck XD)
The other thing that makes me happy is to think that we will have color pages on the same week of Tsubasa and xxxHOLiC.
And about the layout, you are right, they used to change it, at least on each season of the year O.O
