Just one new chapter scheduled since February is way too short ^^” But yey, no breaks for 4 weeks \o/
– This is for those who still haven’t seen it, I forgot to talk about it before, CLAMP drew a Fye wallpaper for this special site for Puri Sute (Tsubasa’s net radio show) dedicated to Namikawa-san (Fye’s seiyuu). It was painted by Nekoi on the computer and you can see it here.
– Another Tsubasa game for Nintendo DS is set to be released still this year, no further information on release date yet. We can expect a third one too since every game corresponds an anime season.
– The covers for tank 13 are finally here:
Syaoran and Kurogane for the normal one, wearing nice macho vests, glad it’s a new pic. I think we can expect Fye to be in the next one with Syaoran.
As for the deluxe one, it wasn’t Clow, again ! Souma, of course ! How come I hadn’t think of her… she looks very pretty ! But who’s gonna be on the next one?
Both versions are going to be released on the next February 16th.
– The 7th and last DVD for the 1st season of Tsubasa (episodes 23~26) is going to be released on February 24th, in the cover there’s Syaoran and Seishirou (is one of the bests ones, IMO) and you can check a nice image at the great site Wing Journey.
It has also been announced the images for the bookmarks that will come with the DVD:

– They added more information regarding the extras for the Movie DVD Premium Edition, there will be audio commentaries by some members of the staff (too bad is not CLAMP) and some TV spots.
XXXHOLiC:

02/06 – Young Magazine #10 – Chapter 97 – 4 Color Pages, beginning of tank 9.
02/13 – Young Magazine #11 – Chapter 98.

02/27 – Young Magazine #13 – Chapter 100 – 2 Color Pages.
Also 4 chapters in a row and what’s more, chapter 100 is on the way ! CLAMP will prepare 2 color pages for this chapter *-* I hope they keep it on the tank. Anyway, XXXHOLiC is already the 5th biggest work of CLAMP, behind X, Tsubasa, CCS and RG Veda only.
– Here’s the cover for vol 8:
It looks so… exotic o.o and different… but XXXHOLiC-ish. Yuuko is sexy as always.
The tank will be on sale on February 16th.
– The same news for the Movie DVD of Tsubasa applies for XXXHOLiC’s (new audio commentaries from the staff, TV spots, etc).
– There will be an event celebrating the opening of the anime series of XXXHOLiC. The date and place are still undecided. The official site for the series opens on the next 6th.
I really missed those events… I was disappointed Tsubasa didn’t have one when usually every series have it. Now let’s pray for CLAMP to be there *prays*
ETC:
– Bandai Visual is re-releasing new versions of Magic Knight Rayearth anime series on DVD, you can check the covers for season 1 and season 2. Some of them contain a few extras, but nothing really big. The last 3 DVDs will be released on February 24th.
– This is for the people who live in Taiwan (if there is anyone who reads my LJ and lives there xD) !!!!! There will be a new CLAMP + Production IG talk show called: Creative Paths from Manga to Animation. It’ll happen on February 12th on Taipei World Trade Center Hall II (Taiwan). No one less than Production IG’s president and or beloved Ohkawa-sensei (she’s the only CLAMP member attending) are gonna talk about what CLAMP does very well, mangas and their transformation into animes. For more information see here.
Now, this is the first time from what I can remember that CLAMP actually left Japan, at least professionally speaking, even though Taiwan is pretty near Japan.
Although today I have no money to go to Taiwan (XDDDDD) I’m happy to know that CLAMP can leave Japan for events.
Is there anyone who lives in Taiwan here? *looks around hopefully* o.o

Chii had just a couple of lines too, so it wouldn’t be unlikely. Ashura-ou didn’t even have any lines and hasn’t really made any appearences aside from Fai’s thinking about him and he made the 12th cover!

It’s been the rough pattern, hasn’t it (since all the leads, excluding Mokona)? Also, characters that have been important in arcs tend to make covers, so perhaps a significant character that will be introduced later will be on the next cover.
After all, Seishirou and Ashura were characters Syaoran-tachi met on their journey. All the other characters (Touya-ou, Yukito, Sohma, Ashura-ou, Tomoyo-hime, and Chii) were from one of the leads’ home worlds.
However, my own bets are on Amaterasu (Kendappa-ou) or (just for fun) Shogo.
